We're Back!!

After a year off, the 124 is back. During 2010, Classic Adelaide folded. However, in early 2011, the event was reborn as Classic Targa Adelaide. The event will run for the first time in September, 2011. Chief amongst the Classic124 team news is the retirement of our co-driver, Graham Standen. His days as a competitor have come and gone, but his passion for the sport burns on. Graham will be a welcome addition to the service crew, a role he has been involved with years earlier during Targa Tasmania. The left hand seat of the 124 is now the domain of Andrew Coles. Andrew has packed a lot of motorsport in to his 24 years, and a lot of Fiat experience as well. He has been an active committee member of the Fiat-Lancia Car Club of South Australia, and is the proud owner of a Fiat X1/9. He has previous co-driving experience, and above all, is a terrific person. A welcome addition to the team! The car has had one outing so far in 2011, and managed to get around Mallala within 0.1 of its fastest ever time, so it is still as willing as ever. Peter Axford and the Eurosport team are tweaking it here and there, and making sure it is in good shape. We can't wait for CTA in September!
